On 28 July 2015 I chaired a panel discussion on The growth of Eurosceptic and anti-Establishment parties in the EU at Universidade da Coruña's summer school on The future of the European Union 4: the aftermath of the crisis, with the participation of colleagues from Romania, Ukraine-Germany and Poland.
On 27 July 2015 I chaired a panel discussion on greece and the future of the Euro at Universidade da Coruña's summer school on The future of the European Union 4: the aftermath of the crisis, with the participation of colleagues from Spain, Portugal and Poland.
Dr Tetiana Havlin, who has visited the module with an Erasmus mobility for teaching, gave a very interesting lecture on migration challenges and policy responses in the European Union. The talk was addressed to young researchers in the social sciences and was supported by the European Social Fund.
In the week from 22 to 26 June 2015, Diego Varela was invited to visit ESEIG, Instituto Politecnico do Porto, in Vila do Conde, Portugal, to discuss about "Labour mobility in the European Union: opportunities and challenges".
Tetiana Havlin of the University of Siegen gave a guest lecture to the students of the course on human capital policy in the European Union in the framework of the Jean Monnet module's activities. In this lecture she introduced students to the concept of "diversity management" in the European Union.
